Jennifer Haverkamp, OD

Dr. Haverkamp is a Kansas native and received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Wichita State University in 2004. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in 2008.

Dr. Haverkamp joined Eye Care & Eye Wear Center of Maine in 2011 after practicing in Bangor for three years upon graduation with a large medical practice. 

Dr. Haverkamp provides comprehensive care for dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and myopia control. She prescribes contact lenses for all types of prescriptions, including astigmatism and multifocal options.

Dr. Haverkamp is an active member of the American Optometric Association. She is currently the president of the Maine Optometric Association, having served as a trustee on the board since 2015. She lives in Freeport with her husband and son.
